    Rolling meat rod

it's definitely a practice makes perfect method. I tend to use an old Daiwa AKN116 rod, which is 11ft6in and 1.5tc. It's a lovely tool for the job. if i want a bit more power, i'll use a Free Spirit Hi S specialist, but have used a Barbel Seeker in the past, did a job, but quite heavy in the...

    Boot Space for fishing tackle

most are diesel, so there's going to be some clatter. But, they're well made, so all you can do is try. Skoda to a Octavia with light offroad capabilities dont they? I think it's called a 'Scout' ?

How about a Volvo XC70, dull as ditch water, but offer raised ride height, estate capacity and 4WD. Also, they're normally driven by antique dealers or rural types, so the engines rarely stretched and go on for ever. Audi Allroad is similar more badge option.

    Recommended Frozen Boilies

Another shout for GS Crab by Oxford Carp Bait. It starts life as ABS's GNZ and then it's tweaked by Ox'. Another ABS bait, Malarkey is resold by Hampshire tackle as 'SS Crab' - it's malarky with some fishy smell and some meat flavour - have done well on that in the last year or so, when time...

    FREE SPIRIT HI S 11ft Specialist 1lb " SOLD"

True Terry - I dont like the Hi S float rods, snapped two of them... and one of the carp stalkers too - though that was user error. I wish they'd make a light barbel rod, 1.5 - 1.75 test, 11ft 6in. Could be a great small river rod where you dont need to check out loads of lead.
