I also have a pair of DL standard builds and whatever rings they are as standard, the action is perfect. Without trying to come across as a contrary Mary, I can't see any rings drastically compromising the action of a decent blank??

I've just checked out the DV landing nets. Does anyone use the 24" or 28" version that are shallow. I've just returned from the Trent where the bankside rocks could be a problem with deeper nets. I did manage a solitary 5lber over two days. Also; are the DV extending handles any good?
