    Best lightweight umbrella?

    Hi All Ordered a Diawa brolly from Angling direct, arrived today, weighed it, 5.12. With a screw in steel pole which weighed 1lb 8oz, swapped it for an alloy screw pole which weighed 8oz less! So have a good quality 50 inch brolly, with a quality cover, tapped seams which weighs 5. 4oz for £45!

    Hi All I think it's how often you fish, that's important, more than how old it is. Until a few years ago, I would change the line twice a season! If I've not fished much then I keep using it the following season
