Lockdown update: What are the new rules set out by Boris Johnson? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/explainers-52530518
The BBC understands that the changes in the guidelines will mean two friends would be able to sit more than two metres apart in a park, and also that sports like golf, tennis...
I don’t know Neil I’ll ask. Apparently you can drive there and they had a car behind them so perhaps just chancers? I used to fish the GUAA Lower Lode (left bank) and I’ve fished the Tewkesbury water on the Ham again left bank as you know. This was right bank right above the weir I’ll let you...
Neil, first, they should not be fishing at the moment, second the description "3 idiots chucking big green lures and drinking beer" which was what I was told does not fit with salmon anglers. They were above the weir opposite the Ham not on Tewkesbury water.
The rings are plenty big enough IMO. I've fished with quiver tips at long range (up to 100m) and never had a shockleader or line thickness issue. Sorry but I cannot see a problem. I use line up to about 0.30mm

Every UK Freshwater Fish Filmed Underwater
Used to pop them up or make them slightly buoyant all the time when bream fishing, tips I picked up in Holland where they always use floaters.
Get some fresh maggots
Put a handful in a bait box and add some warm / hot water, just enough to wet them
At this point they will wriggle like mad...
If the ones to be hit hardest are Drennan Team England then Peter Drennan should have thought about this before he decided he should pick the team and hold the AT to ransom which is what this is about. The missing money is a smokescreen as said before. If that was not the case then surely a bit...
This has nothing to do with missing money it's Peter Drennan's smokescreen to mask his desire to meddle in Team England affairs after a couple of his stars were not selected. The AT have published all accounts and Drennan have no evidence. Did they really act upon a note that looked like it was...
These two are still both day ticket but heavily match fished and the quality of the fishing has suffered in comparison to other places.
Jon, You could try Evesham Common Rd which has been fishing well, tickets on the bank or Pershore behind the leisure centre which is free. This end of the...
I would try Stratford Lido or recreation ground. The Lido downstream from the car park and around the Swans neck bends would be great on a centrepin. Lots of roach, dace and chub there. Both are Leaminton AC £3 day ticket on the bank. Details are on their website.
I was concerned about where you wish to go with this and that you are simply after a reaction from a group of anglers who will regard themselves as conservationists. I spend a lot of time working in marine fish conservation work and have seen the sort of argument you seem determined to have many...
Who said chip shop cod was OK? It wasn't me, it depends where the cod comes from, North Sea sea is extremely depleted. Chances are you will never know the source for sure from a chippie. To much of our fish, indeed the worlds fish is fished for unsustainably. I do actually look for MSC...
