I have a question . what's your thoughts on fishing for other fish in this weather . ? I souly. fish for eels and I want to catch a river 4lber . but feel has if I tried I would get tarnished with the same brush ..

sent a well known guy off the middle severn a message on instergram today about his constant pics with small barbel .saying why are you still barbel fishing when all respectable are arnt when the river is on its ar$E . I got blocked by him . catch at all costs for sponcers . shocking...

Don't know if anyone as mentioned this but why don't clubs ..EA . etc etc just do what they do on lakes . When they see fish spawning close them down . Or has anglers use common sense and don't fish . I know there will be the odd couple who carry on fishing . But is easier than closing them...
