not used it myself however on maggodrowners there are people that use it and get on with it. if your not doing any distance casting it's fine it seems....do a search for kastking on maggotdrowners
interesting Sam, I have a couple of drennan distance feeders and cant stand using them on running water. I bought them for stillwaters but when I tried them on the Thames in the winter I found the last third a bit to soft. I have some of the heavy cadence #3 feeders in both 13-14ft and found...
does anyone really think these will be less likely to spook a fish and catch them more...if anything more a recipe for a snap up and a tangle?
I've been doing some long sessions at linear fisheries this year after big bream and tench in gin clear water where carp anglers make every effort to...
Oxfordshire Thame?...
If it's anything like another local Thames tributary it probably got past its worst a few years ago and is starting to recover, it would be good to know if there were any barbel stocked at the same time as they did the Cherwell as they could be a decent size now. I would...

I watched Clive Branson fishing the Wye in Hereford on the bolo and he said mucilin defintly helps...
when you have a good look at the pictures of the 16 and 11 you can see the difference in what the girth would be. The measurement off the 16 I would think would be much greater
if you want your line to float better yes, I use mucilin silicon on my line, very cheap and as you apply it you clean your line as well. I did try the spray on floatants but found mucilin much better
I know the feeling Terry...a few years back I made the effort to do some good self takes, nowadays I cant be that bothered.
Daniels pic of the 11lber could pass for a bigger fish but yours the opposite...just shows how the picture distorts the size of fish.
