I have tried shrinktubing but when the isotope is parallel to the rod it is much less visible than when it is at 90 degrees to the rod. Is the isoblob much better

I've got muckboots and still suffer from cold feet, Skeetex are slightly warmer(not a lot) but are no good for walking any distance. I'll have to try the Baffins.

Hi Andy for the maggot fishing for chub/barbel I use a very old Graham Phillips 1.25 lb barbel rod , 10lb line and a size 16 superspade, works for me. I understand that the Darenth Valley 1.25 lb rods are very good if you are not fortunate enough to have the G. P
I have never found a pair of boots to keep my feet toastie! I have muck boots artic at the mo previously Skeetex. The skeetex were slightly superior when new but the liner wore out quite quickly and are about £25 a pop. expensive for repeated replacement
