That's a laughable idea . Catching rocking horse ****. i was there today, a sucessfull angler on the fishery told me that he had caught a hundred barbel, fishing a least once a week ......... in TWENTY FIVE years! I'm in my second season, still haven't had a barbel from there

I 'm looking for a new brolly for roving for barbel.
it should be as light as possible
It doesn't have to be a huge diameter, 45 inch ribs are more than adequate,
It should also be able to be erected swiftly.
I'm not looking at any particular budget
What can you good people recomend...
I've never found any boots including skeetex. Muck boots and others teamed with bridgedale socks or electrically heated socks which are warm enough for me. I usually have to go for a walk intermittently. Haven't tried the toewarmers yet. Having said that I'm quite happy in 40 degree heat when...
I'm with Richard, I use a bog standard 36 in triangular net. Big enough for the biggest barbel and deep enough. Pan nets don't have any place in my barbel fishing.
