Allow plenty of time, it'll take you an hour just to put the float together, let alone plumb it up correctly.......

Any problems with closed face reels are very easy to sort out....just chuck 'em in the bin !;)🤣

You may only be fishing lures for Bass, but I find a 2lb test Barbel rod and baitrunner perfect for slinging out live Joeys under a float, and pretty good for lightish legering close in.
