Wanted advice on River tripods and bite alarms with receiver

There are lots of variants of black one's , and I dare say the No Good Tackle ones are as good as the solar ones for a 5th of the cost 👍

Wanted advice on River tripods and bite alarms with receiver

Hi Jim. You can purchase separately new backs with longer ears, though I wouldn't class then as snag ears.

    Compact chairs

Can't fault it, though everyone has copied it , so hunt around for a bargain. The korum ruck bag sits snuggly inside it for roving. Most comfortable chairs ever made. It's like sitting at home with me pipe n slippers. 😁

Advice wanted for protective hard cases for rods and reels?

Hi Jim, it's the K.I.S. Sport Fishing, extendable. Have a Google they are around 100 quid but as good as the Bazuka Pro.

Advice wanted for protective hard cases for rods and reels?

I alternate between K.I.S.. And Bazuka Pro for air travel. For the back of the van might be a bit overkill. Have you thought of strapping them up high on the ceiling of the van? Nowt can fall in them then. Unless you roll the van🤔

    Line Longevity

Hi Colin the reason for putting a whole 300yrd spool on my pin serves 2 purposes, . 1 it increases the diameter and reduces time winding in. 2 if I have a disaster. ie. With a good amount of line out, I know im still able to fish on. I use daiwa j braid expedition, and if you wind it on taught...

    Line Longevity

And that's mostly why I use braid , I can get 300 yds, on my pin and I strip no more than 5m,,, if I've encountered some abrasive elements.. Im still using the same for 4yrs now and I know I've only stripped approximately 45 m , so have probably another 7yrs to go. I really think most are...

    Line Longevity

Don't forget , you can always reverse it before replacing, just empty one spool on to a 2ft winder, then wind on some backing on your spool that you want to refill up to the brim. Wind that back on to your empty spool, then add a similar amount of backing to that spool and wind the line on your...

    New Normark Rods

For me at those lengths, and with a dolly section, I'll stick to what I've got for now. I really think they have missed a trick not having a dedicated 14, or 15 ft version of the avengers or titans. My bet is you will be able to pick them up much cheaper, once everyone has had their fill!
