As Chris has already said no one brand, my tackle box has all the above in it with the exception being solar....I also have a few you haven't mentioned like Nash and John Roberts.
I had a Fox Horizon pod for about a season and as others have said it's good piece of kit, but i found it cumbersome and by the time i'd set it up i could have both rods out,(on bank sticks) and sat enjoying a brew and a fag.
.
I worked at a paper mill in Radcliffe many years ago and they pumped loads of **** in the irwell after it went dark...Good to see things changing for the better..
Cheers John
It's 12.5 Ib that i'm using..i've just tied some combi rigs using an albright knot, i'll give them a go this week.....What makes these hook pulls worse is it always happens on a lump ! :D
Because i'm getting more bites and landing more fish, i've just never had as many hook pulls as i have this season...When using two rods, i've used both and found the fluoro has the better results..
Having pulled out of three Barbel this week, making a total of ten this season, it's got me thinking about my presentation and hook lengths.
I normaly use a braid hooklength (sufix heavy) but recently started using fluorocarbon (Grand max riverge) and have noticed an increase in catch rate...
.
I try and look at it by asking myself "what i normaly use." Carrying a brolly is a pain, i don't mind getting wet but sitting all day in the rain isn't for me and makes rolling a cig hard work..
