As above Can't go wrong with the korum tripod

Hi all. I'm off to northumberland next week with the kids and was wondering if it's worth taking a telescopic rod and a few bits and bobs to fish of the beach. Was thinking possibly spinners and lures but not really sure, any info would be appreciated

Had a quick look on YouTube and a lot of their videos seem to have gone but I found one by" cast a line heseltine" on budget fishing and it's the same kid.

Actually in the town and down stream it's free or used to be. There used to be a couple of lads who posted on you tube about them stretchers. See if you can get in touch with them

No closed season round here.... Just had a mouch up the Don... Two fishing, both told rivers shut, neither bothered. Up near Oughtibridge 25meter net in river, obviously come adrift of the bank, with fish struggling in it. Both incidents reported to EA but I'll not hold my breath

Hi Kyle and welcome. The river at catcliffe is in fact the rother which has some nice barbel In if your prepared to find them. There's no chance of spotting them even when low in the summer, it's to coloured, it's just a case of getting out there and fishing. Best bet is walk the river and bait...

TFG do a 8 / 10ft avon rod that comes with various quiver tops. It's a great little rod and very versatile, I own a couple butNot sure if they still do it though

Just bought some skellerup Quattro and well pleased with em up to now. Look very well made and got great reviews.
