    Coated braid ?

Joe, answer 1, is yes much easier to tie and get through the hookeye if stripped, 2nd is in darksness the fish are following a scent or flavour trail and are not very likely to spot the line in darkness mate.

    Coated braid ?

mike, try leaving about an inch stripped back, enables the bait to waver more naturally but not leaving enough stripped braid to chafe or cut on flinty or rocky bottom unless the fish rubs its lips on the bottom trying to unhook itself but with barbel thats probably not going to happen

    Rig for pellet

10" hook link nicked onto web ball of freebies, use the heavy web to allow the ball to roll into edge of the weed before it melts away a heavier lead helps to hold position close to the freebies that usually stay put in the weed roots ect.

Do your Baits and boilies change come winter?

as always the art of fishing is observation and planned patience, sometimes its patience waiting for the fish to respond, likewise its the same on the boards, members will reply if the question is put up thoughtfully but still we all have other things taking priority over immediate replies...

    Extra long landing net pole?

Chris Brown does a real nice one at 9ft but you need to buy the net as well, aint cheap but it has a screw in 3 ft extra long bit so you get a 6ft or 9ft pole in one, well made and finished and now i know i dont really need all my old nets

oddly enough we are looking for a 2nd home in dorset, fell in love with it whilst working there a few years ago, not many floods and virtually no snow and definately a bit warmer than ost of the uk is:)
