    yes Neil, memories are better than pictures sometimes, pictures get lost, damaged ect but memories stay in your mind forever, that small group who fished the bibs so much were some of the friendliest anglers i have ever met, malc can you reach silky to let him know please

    Gutted, Ray was one of my closest mates on bfw, gonna miss him and his funny old ways, Lots of memories of good fishing trips with him, Linda we have never met but i heard so much about you from ray, my deepest condolences on the loss of ray, hell i cant handle this bye

    hi derek mate, i would never use kryston if theres any mussels, flinty bottom,or rocks in river, it just dont stand up to chafing unless you use the multistrand at high b/s then the damn stuffs to thick mate

    i wouldn,t dream of using a mobile phone to access bank account, i also never activate any quick scan payment on my card, only ever use pin number and also have a minimal payment allowed unless i contact my bank manager 1st, the last bit is infallible as they know both my voice and face

    Long trotting big baits for chub

    big bread flake ect. i always tear a nice big piece from a tin loaf, fold it over a good size 2 or 4 hook, i prefer eyed, then around the eye and just above squeeze and roll the bread so its firm and tight, when i say big piece i mean from size of matchbox up to half a slice of sliced bread...

    they do something similar in seafishing in deep water where they poke something to perforate the bulging swim bladder:eek:, personally i wouldnt reccommend poking anything down its throat

    Arriving after dark/before first light on small rivers

    James, arriving in the dark on small rivers alone needs EXTREME caution unless you know the section really well mate, undercut banks in winter can cave in quite unexpectedly and even a strong swimmer if laden with warm clothes ect can gt shocked by the cold entry and cramp up, in the dark alone...

    then Tony thats fine mate, if its daiwa then the general standard of finishing is good, not as nice as a really good custom built rod but very well checked out and finished so get out with it and get stuck in mate:)
