If Professor Barnard's early victims lasted a week they had done well. Still the quality of life over that extended lifetime must have made it all worthwhile. I think some of his later patients did last a little longer. I seem to recall that rejection might have been an issue. The good Professor...
Looks an interesting product. I shall not do any business with BobCo again. Everything is fine if transactions go smoothly. In my experience, if you need to talk to BobCo they just ignore your phone calls and letters. I guess that you can't have the customer relations aspect and cheap prices.
My view is each to his own. Quesque tu pense , Mon amis. I learnt a petit bit of Francais when I was a Legionnaire. Peutetre we can share a few blagues quelquefois oeuver a verre of wine. Unfortunatement, mon English and Francais as become a petit confuse and il n'ya pas rien people understand...
I'll add my twopenneth on this one. In my experience, the best cricketers don't always make the best coaches. Same in the classroon, the most intelligent people don't always make the best teachers. The prettiest boy doesn't make the best lover. Not an exact parallel, I agree, but food for thought. .
It sounds very similar to a landing net handle that I bought a few years ago. They were heavyweight affairs and on the cam was the logo Xtenda. I believe that they were recommended on here but purchased via EBay. The complaint was that they were on the heavy side and required a mod. I remember...
I used braid as a kid and couldn't see any downside then. For some reason I abandoned it in my teens, probably on cost. Since I got back to course fishing - after a long spell on the finest Scottish salmon rivers - I have used nothing but braid for all types of fishing. It's tough, will put...
We had an EA guy attend one of our local club meetings. He was great and offered loads of advice on everything from stocking, water quality, predation, poaching etc etc. I feel that we have made a real pal and as an added bonus, he is a fishing enthusiast. It might be an idea for other clubs to...
Cheap jibes at my ancestry are not appreciated. I'll have you know that my family's coat of arms is as follows:
A large bird, underneath the inscription :Phalacrocorax carbo Fatales . Above the large bird is a crest and underneath a blunderbus.
Sir Ranulph already has a...
Hey, Kevin, how could you? I'll have you know that my pyjamas are made of the finest silk, with my monogram and the same discrete coat of arms as is on the butts of my hexagraphs. Between you and me, my pyjamas actually cost more that my Paramo jacket.
Hi Dave, I've found "vanilla" lunchy to be as good as any. However, my local Tesco has loads of the garlic spam. If you want any, let me know, £1 a tin unfortunately the 25% extra tins are no longer available as they have all been bought up and are for sale in my corner shop at £2.25 a tin...
A middle aged man out walking his dog had to be air lifted to Bristol Frenchay hospital today after suffering a gunshot wound to the head. Police are questioning an angler who maintained that this was acceptable collateral damage considering the damage that the black plague was doing to his pet...
There are some good reviews as well! I love my Paramo jacket and one day I'll have to test it in the rain. So far, I've only worn it in Waitrose where Waitrose shoppers recognise how much it cost. No point in wearing it in the budget stores as that sort of clientele wouldn't recognise the...
