Absolutely agree raymond about taking pictures, I like to keep them out of the water as little as possible, and they all look pretty much the bloody same anyway!! Unless it looks like a pb or nice double i dont get it🙄

Yes mate,line down the margin not rod,feeder and korum bolt and run rig

Fox mini microns and i did have them turned up full🙈

Woke this morning from a sort of sleep lol,to see my left hand rod down in the margin, reeled in and it was snagged, left it while seeing to my other rod,then returned to a nice chub about 5lb,it had taken my bait from near middle river without any indication on my alarm 😳

There is significantly more stretch in say 40-60 ft of mainline than a 3ft hooklength, so the hooklength should go first, i think 🤣

Think its a lot of faffing about, when you can use a feeder which you can fill tight or loose depending on the flow,i usually have a mix of pellets and hemp and maybe some bottled flavour,3ft hooklength and they can come up to find my hook bait, hopefully 😃,mind you ive struggled last couple of...
