I was feeding a robin over the xmas period all day long.....and by the time i'd packed up later on in the afternoon it had shat all over my rod quiver!!!
To some that would be lucky!!
But they do warm a cold day up for you when not too much is happening.
Without stating the obvious Andy, you have always a chance of a chub or a roach pick up fella, have a go mate you might just be suprised and that'll give you the confidence.

Been a bit of a weird season for me to be honest.
The Spring/ river closed season 2009 saw me back on the lake that i bailiff and resulted in me catching a target fish that i'd chased for the past 3 years, had a few fish inc some cats while taking me son for a few nights out.

I bought a Korum 13ft power float rod rated for 4-8lb lines, and can honestly say although i've only used it a handfull of times that it performs well and has plenty of poke if needed and also it doesn't look over the top or too tarty if you get me?
Def worth a look at.
