For me personally, a rod so soft doesn't give me enough power to control and boss a half decent fish.
After saying that I have no idea which model the rod is.
It just looks arced round to me, same as any other rod would be.
I don't recall anyone saying which model it was that the person was using.
Considerring the rods appear to be being available in the not too distant future I don't get why they haven't released the spec's of the rods ?
The rods...
I saw the chit chat about them on fb last night.
There was no mention of the important points, rod weights, line ratings, and of course the probable cost.
knowing that those three match rods have a fanatical following I would imagine the selers will put a hefty price tag on the rods.
I saw a...
No, I think they're a solid alloy and the alloy is actually the colour of the seat, so it isn't a finnish on top of the alloy.
They are a very classy reel holder.
I get what Chris means about cold metal on your hands, but my hands don't come in contact with the metal. I find the coldest thing...

The other lengths of the BU rpds still had a stupid tourny type screw down reel holder.
I only got 4 squeaker chub, so you blew me out Graham!
To be honest though, I was really trying to get a barbel. Reason for trying so hard to catch a barbel is because it's so cold and i'm curious how low a water temperature I can tempt one to take my bait on float gear.
I have been presenting...
I must have a screw loose lol....the air temp when I rolled up at the river today was 5 degrees, I think the river was 3 or 4 degrees so I wasn't brimming over with confidence!
Anyhow, I fished fron 12.50pm till 2pm and was pleasantly surprised with the result over such a short period of time.
I...
What a horribly cold and windy day it is today, why on earth I decided to go trotting a float in these conditions beggers belief!
The river was very low and probaby as clear as it gets, so not what most people would consider to be ideal conditons.
I decided to fish on a tidal section of river...
Ok, one last price drop incase anyone is on the fence....
£145 posted.
Incase anyone is wondering how capable these reels are, here is an example of what I caught with it when I used it...
