    So easy to flavour your own spam - chop up into lumps/sections, put in plastic bag with garlic salt/ curry powder/whatever flavour - blow up bag, shake around, stick in freezer. Or fry with bit of oil and flavours - nice crusty edges ! Probably stating the obvious - just saying ;)

    Also still waiting. Had mine checked on Hants Avon last week of the season - first time for 30 years. Bit bizarre as I was fishing in middle of nowhere when two uniformed EA officers came walking across the fields. Nice chaps - apparently they cover the whole of the south-east. I want their job...

    Derek's put a link on for Diver Dave - I would highly recommend him.(Dave, not Derek;)) Not only does he repair waders, he also sells new and second hand pairs. These are all tested and seam sealed and his prices are very good. Very helpful and knows his stuff - wouldn't look anywhere else...

    Definitely prefer cork handles. Back in the day a lot of rods just had sliding reel grips and I took a lot of chunks out of the cork tightening the grip on my black prince/mitchell match/300 reels. Than just moved the reel position slightly to ruin another section. Obviously much better with...
