    New Normark Rods

Apparently all the new Normark rods are being sent out for delivery today. I'm interested in 12-14 Avenger tbh and looking for comparisons to my Daiwa 14ft sm2 xp, if the normark is better, well tbh I hope so, as I really want a new Normark to add to my limited collection...

    Thoughts on Block end feeders.

Have a look at Prestons click cap feeders, similar to black caps and weights up to 60 gram. Clik Cap Feeder | UK Match Fishing Tackle For True Anglers | Preston Innovations https://share.google/nvyqTSQtUn1oiHalN

Combi Rig - loop to loop or albrighton?

When you tie the Nylon/Flouro loop, should a bit of tubing on first so u can cover the knot, as the soft braid loves to tangle in the tag end..

    Heat!

Any right minded Barbel angler should abstain in these Acute conditions... they will still be there when the weather breaks and the O2 levels rise....I have seen it for myself, people literally killing a fish, just for the glory of a Facebook like or weighing a fish to log it, with total...

    Braid choice for hooklinks

Quite an interesting thread lads... for combilinks I have for a few years used Korda supernatural in 18 and 25lb. Knots really well and very smooth when tightening up. I have always used Sunline FC Sniper in 20lb to attach my braid combilink to 0.37mm. I always cover the knot in tungsten tubing...

    New reservoir ?

We don't need more homes or water if we keep a static population. It's a shambles from top to bottom... everywhere is stretched and overwhelmed... and if they think this Alien generation is going to work hard for a living, more like cap in hand for a lifetime...

    Shimano Thunnus 6000.

I got all mine from different countries, Germany, Australia and the USA. Cheapest i got was £130 from the USA when the exchange rate was very good. A friend was in Orlando for a week and I emailed a shop to save me 2, so he could pick them up for me...

How many of you are waiting for this long float rod?

Too long for me, fish comes up either too far out or too far downstream.

Korum Speci Heli Kits - Can they be reused?

Yes, tie a loose granny knot, pass some similar BS line through it, tighten the granny knot onto the line. Then wet the line and knot and slide down the heli kit over knot onto the spare line, reverse to pit back on line.
