    Tackle bag stinks

Hi Tony, I buy a roll of plastic bags, the food and freezer type, I get these from Macro's they cost about £7.00 , there are 200 in a roll, I use these to put the bait in, very light, no smells and throw them in the bin when they are finished. Brian.

Hi Carl, an enclosed holdall for your made up rod and reel plus all your bits would be a Korum, the one with the zipped side, this may suit your needs. Brian. http://korum.co.uk/Item_KITM-08

    Korum Quiver

I have use the Korum quivers for years, but I have now found the Fox compact three rod quiver, this bit of kit is much better, what Fox has done is to put the rod rest pockets on the opposite side, which makes putting your rods in the pockets much easier, the only draw back is the position of...

    Phoned the EA today

Opening day here at Throop and the EA Bailiffs were out in force checking for rod licences, and they did find two lads fishing without a licence, that will cost them dearly, so at the end of the day it is just not worth the risk of fishing without one, and as Graham says, it's cheating. Brian.

    The Best T.V. Fishing presenters

Hi James, I can't believe you wrote about the man eating eels, that had to be the worst episode, and one that I did not like, you are right, some of it is vastly exaggerated, but it does make for a good watch, I bet some of the none anglers cringe. Brian.

    The Best T.V. Fishing presenters

I must say that I am surprised that no one mentioned Jeremy Wade and river monsters, everyone has been moaning about the state of the rivers this year, but after watching the countless repeats of River Monsters, I still can't believe what he puts his self through to catch a fish, could I fish in...

    Barbel Travel rod

Hi again James, when you do purchase a travel rod, please be aware that there may be times when you would require it to be made up, if you buy a four piece, when this is made up it will fit into your quiver when it is broken down into two sections. Brian.

Hi James, i have a four piece Harrison Advanced Avon, it really is a great bit of kit, i have had this for sometime now, i purchased this from Davis Tackle, but it will be out of your price range, so if you do decide to splash out, have a look at one, it's finished in matt black and is about...

    crabtree - quest tomorrow (24/02/13) @ 9.00pm

Nigel is right, whinging Willson by name, whinging Willson by nature. Bear in mind that Nigel also had a whinge at the screaming ratchet. I have tried in vain not to whinge, but i have failed so many times, so why is this ? I have no WILL power, i just like a perfect world, but this is not to...

    crabtree - quest tomorrow (24/02/13) @ 9.00pm

Lets be honest..........I dont know any centre pin users that use a ratchet, except for when they pack up and are travelling. I did say that i was not going to watch this tripe again, but when i received a text from a centre pin angler informing me of the ratchet noise, i just had to have a...

    crabtree - quest tomorrow (24/02/13) @ 9.00pm

I watched it, never again, did you notice that he netted the first fish in a Greys spoon landing net, which was placed on the unhooking mat, the next shot revealed the fish in a different landing net, a green one which was squared off at the end, then we had him leaving his rods unattended only...
