yes they have a nice feel. The r design were £400 at A/D, so very pricy! Toray carbon too but I don't think the standard R rods had that but still very light as you say.

Hi Ian. Interested you mention a friend has rive rods. I was upset when I missed a r design on ebay at silly money. I bought a feeder last year from Austria and have to say its an 11ft dream.. if your pal thinks of disposing of any, I am interested. Please pass this on to hi.. cheers Alec

Just wondering if anyone bought, has or used any of the must trumpeted new hardy marksman rods updates launched I think in 22. I was close to buying an avon but due to transit delays I went back to Roger for a peregrine. I always look to support new ventures, such as the new normark team. Sadly...

I didn't think they were dear. I expected 250 plus but I suppose folkestone isn't exactly handy for most to be able to drop bye.

I could never get on with them Jay. The handle flexed,with a lump on, which I found disconcerting.
