I make my own with JBs stuff , find it more rewarding and adds another dimension to my fishing , personally think off the shelf stuff is much of a muchness and made to a price point .
I’ve had some great results with my own bait but very rarely with off the shelf stuff , so that’s good enough...
I see Hinders are now charging £50 for 10 kilos of hemp now 😳
Think my first order with them it was £35 only two years ago .

I’d look at Howsham it will suit your methods perfectly. I’ve fished it a fair bit and really enjoyed it . In fact I might get another York book this year .
It does get busy though especially early on in the season .
I have the Drennan 44” and really like it , I bought it for the tight swims I fish and works well without the centre pole and storm poles . I also have the Korum 50” which is obviously better where there's more room , I fitted the missing storm caps the Korum is missing

I spoke to Chas a few times about building me a pair of C3 s
gave him the specs I wanted and he was very unresponsive via text , waited ages for an answer which didn’t bode well
ended up going to Dave Lumb who did a fantastic rod for a similar price
I’ve always used an aeropress , we get unground beans from Rave coffee on subscription every month , I’m pretty sure they do coffee bags as well .

Yeah I love mine , usually wear a thin pair and a thick pair ( I’m a nine and I bought a ten )

I’d say they are wide enough but I like my salopettes over the boot
They are much heavier than my Muck boots Derwent , but there 8.5 mm neoprene so a lot warmer than the Derwents
I don’t actually feel the extra weight when walking , they do feel like a solid construction though and...
