Ah that’s a shame Cliff. I fear it’s just a bad circulation issue and maybe nothing will solve it when sitting in the same spot for long periods in the winter… may still give the muckboots a go anyway as I need something

I’m exactly the same Michael, hence me starting the thread. It’s a circulation problem. I do the same have a walk up and down to warm them up lol…… very tempted to try the arctic sport muck boots after all the recommendations and read some great reviews for those as well

In the market for some new footwear as we move into winter. For the last 6/7 years I’ve had a pair of walking/ hiking boots (Scarpa terra gtx) and in hiking boots terms I’ve loved them.. seriously comfortable, 100% waterproof and excellent quality that have lasted much longer than I could have...

Scarpa Terra GTX for me. Had mine 8 plus years and they’ve just about had it. I’ve been so happy with them think I’ll just buy the same again

Yeah must admit I was shocked that they still had the series 7 spares, wish I’d looked into it 2 years ago when I broke them!

Hi Dave just to let you know my local tackle shop has ordered me 2 top Avon sections for my series 7. They have a small amount of them left so give it a go.

Well Impressed it’s actually perfect and love how compact it is.. actually made for smaller sized reels and rings. Saves having a big bulky carp sleeve… nice one Paul!

Haha to be fair I don’t think the quality was amazing on the series 7s I’ve also got a pair of the much older super specialist duos which have had much more use and no broken tips … still, keeping an eye out
