My aim is to use it in a bolt rig set up behind the feeder. The idea is to try to stop getting smashed up on fine hook links when maggot fishing for weary Chub.
I'm thinking of incorporating a piece of Feeder Gum into a feeder rig for Chubbing. Do any of you use it? and if so, what knot do you use to join it to nylon line? Thanks for any help.
Don't rule the John Wilson out just because it's a cheap rod. I have two of the Harrison rods Bob refers to, but I prefer use a JW most of the time. It's lovely rod to use, and handles some decent fish with ease. :D
Very sad news. Keith kindly gave a day of his time to give a few of us a float fishing tutorial, he came across as a really nice man. My condolences to his family.
Lets just hope it can all be sorted out, and soon. I have been a member for 5years, its a great club with some fantastic waters, so there is a lot at stake.
