My little river today.I can’t compete with some of the stunning photos on here,but it’s where I fish. Just walking the banks with my dog today,only three others on the entire stretch.

I’ve only used them for halibut and bloodworm pellets.And the quality and service was good.I haven’t used their base mixes or ingredients so can’t comment on them.

I have the Lowa Z-8S boots.Can’t be beaten in my opinion.Waterproof and very comfortable.Z-8 standing for 8”. They do a Z-6 which is more of an ankle boot.I prefer the higher fitting to give my dodgy ankles some support.

Looked a good swim,but blanked.

Probably because I’ve only picked a rod up in the last couple of days,my usual late start to the season,and they like to wind me up 😊. Luckily I only live 10 minutes from the river,so not as though I’d traveled far.

I had the whole two mile stretch to myself,complete peace and quiet.Then Captain Pugwash chugged along 😄.Still,the mans got a job to do.
