    korum spoon landing net.

Jon, I did lift vertical but i reckon they are a bit flimsy as i have had two nets do it, with one snapping and the other bending beyond repair. The rim snapped when the fish kicked, no lie. However, i must commend Korum as on both occasions i was offered a replacement with no questions...

    korum spoon landing net.

I've had 2 replacements from korum as on the first one the frame bent on both the left and right hand side about 2 inches above the block, this occurred when I moved a fish up a step onto an unhooking mat, second one snapped on both aides in same place. Stick with replacement now but I don't use...

    River Teme

I dont know the fishery but i fish other teme fisheries. Remember a dog spike , especially if wet! It can be alright getting down but the problem can be getting back up the swim! keep on the move so travel light - The more spots you fish, the more likely you are to find some feeding fish. Bw

Shimano DL 4000, 4000D or Daiwa Regal Z

Is there much difference in size between the 4000ds and the 6000ds? I fish the Teme, Lower Severn and the Wye. What I'd like to know is am I better off buying some 4000ds and some bigger reels for fishing when there is extra water on/bit of pred fishing or getting some 6000d's? I worry they...

    Lead wire

Afternoon, For you guys who use lead wire wrapped around your hook shank for rolling Meat, where do you get it from? Do you use the medium width stuff that people use for tying flies as this looks a little thin. I had some ready loaded partridge hooks that I bought off trefor west but have...

    Selfish?

afternoon, I am of the opinion, that with modern day prices for bait, if somebody wants to put 130kg of bait in then that is there choice. I know i couldnt afford to do it but if someone wants to do it to achieve their goal or target , which Jeremey says is 10 or 15 fish in 6 miles of...

    Fishing rights and wrongs

Graham, i think the legal position your friend is talking about is the right of prescription. i may be wrong but this is different to adverse possession. Its a way of claimng an easement ( a right/use over the property of another) by continual and regular use and can be without the...

A bi poar barbel session this morning

Darreyl. Seriously??? It's a story that has been put on here for entertainment as it is incredibly funny and if it had been in front of camera it would have been entertaining. I am sure that the fish in Stuarts big net were cared for better than a lot of anglers who only have to...
