Some may find it too bulky but i find it great..... I have got the Canon G1X. I cannot recommend it highly enough and the picture quality is amazing.
Even though i have not used it myself - there is a wink (yes wink) self-timer setting. Set yourself - wink and this triggers the self timer...
Nick,
When pre-baiting do you introduce all your bait with a dropper/spomb, a catapult or a good old fashioned flick of the wrist? Does this change depending on the size of river you are pre-baiting?
When you pre-bait in the closed season would i be right in guessing you tend to pre-bait a...
Julian,
Have you looked at drop shotting? - a really enjoyable and addictive method and if i can catch doing it anybody can !! My local canal has been very coloured so i have been using very brightly coloured soft plastic shads/minnows and catching. Lots of info for beginners like me online...
Quick point - and don't bite my head off - I've just caught up with the last few pages of this thread. Lee, who i'd like to add i do not know, gave his opinion and basically has been told by a few of you "if you don't like it FO" and in other words if he does not like what is on here then do...

As i fish opposite the BS stretch my advice would be have a go on the Wye mate as it is very slow down Bransford at the moment and until we get some extra water to flush the system i am not going to try down there again.
Dave,
I am quite aware of that - i don't need to look as i have seen it mentioned on here lots of times and other forums. I was merely adding my experience and suggesting a possible avenue of rectification for someone who has suffered same problem as me. Merely voicing an opinion.
You are...
Contact Drennan.
I emailed them with the problem and received a prompt reply from a guy called Sean Trafford. He told me to phone the office when i had my handle with me, i did and he sent me a replacement bung for free - my old one had become worn and my handle wouldn't tighten. I had tried...
