    If you're not specifically after Barbel then you could do worse than the Ringwood area. Just a short drive down to the Britford fishery ( Day Ticket ) for some nice mixed fishing. If you are after decent accomodation down there then PM me and I'll ping off some details.

    If you're trotting them 40 yards plus down a river ( which is what they're designed for ) I doubt that a multi coloured tip would make much difference

    Hi Alan, I've done it and it's very straightforward, even for a self confessed imbecile like me . Can't remember where I sourced the conversion kit from but probably e-bay, where they are still available as we speak. The result was good, no issues at all.
