regarding the salter brecknells i had these years ago and loved them until one of the buttons broke:(...
i use p line fluro now but have tried all different types.
the knot i use is a double grinner knot ;)never had any problems with it.
just type it into search engine and have a go.
here you go john ive got one of these but in the 30" they also do them in 36";)
its very light but seems strong and i like the 2 piece handle very good in tight swims!

ive just purchased one of these in the 36" very light weight and the 2 piece handle makes it easier on steep banks. i personally like a deep net to rest fish and made up with this:)
