i used fluroclear on my reels last season great line for the reel and used the fluro carbon as a hooklength.
fluroclear is the red box and fluro carbon the blue box,got mine from bass pro in vegas:)

i went last year and found the best way to get a BITE was using leadcore along with a barbed hook using 3 rods.
i was catching southern jessies all week:)

right just to put a stop to this, you wont be able to fish that swim this season as i'll be on the other bank flicking out my 1/2 lead;)
im with andy on this armourbraid/armourchord is something i've used to combat the sharp bedrock.

i personally haven't took any pictures of a barbels mouth damaged by a barbless hook!
all i've got to say is its not something i brag about damaging a fishes mouth:( i shared my experience,as i thought it was my duty to advise fellow anglers of my opinion.
did none of you barbless anglers not...
we've got the jrc x lite and low lite in the shop and would personally recommend as they're lightweight and well built.
i've seen the starbaits session chairs and they're a great piece of kit, must be to hold mark who's had a few pies too many:D
ive just checked and my last last 600 barbel have been caught on barbed hooks and had no damage to their mouths;) only 1 caught with a barbless and what was the outcome:(
as ive already said opinions differ and in the case where the fish suffered bad damage with a barbless hook it could of been...

im sure ive posted this on here before but here we go again.
i used a barbless hook by mistake 2 seasons back and watched a barbel 5lbish twisting and turning in shallow water:eek:
when i went to unhook it the hole that was left was a disgrace to say the least,where the hook...
