I had the fox stalker scales and they lasted 2 years before they went completely out of sync weight wise. Found out you need to get them calibrated every couple of years. My mate had these scales and never had a problem. They always seemed to pretty much match other scales. Fox wanted £35 plus...
Surely if it was road run off all rivers would be suffering same fate. Seems like they can’t be arsed to investigate or they know who’s responsible and don’t want to get their mates in trouble
Had about 25 8 hour session blanks on the bounce the start of last season with only about 3 little knocks in that time. Makes the first fish all that more special
Air dry boillies for 3 days and they will go hard as marbles. I guess once cast out eventually they will soften up but I guess most of us don’t fish sessions long enough for that to happen
I don’t mind ordering rods from tackle shops to be delivered cause if it turns up broke you’ll get your money back or a replacement but I wouldn’t spend big money secondhand without collecting myself as one of you is losing out if it arrives damaged
I did some agency work at wordsley crystal back in the day. One of our jobs was to move the glasses stacked up 8 or more high with 30 plus each layer. I watched one lad smash a whole stack one day lol. Was just glad it wasn’t me
Got the thermos king. Always fill it with a pot of coffee with coffee mate so I don’t cool it down at all with milk. Also I fill it with boiling water while I’m waiting for the coffee to finish. Will stay hot 24 hours as long as you have so much left in it. If you save a cup for the morning it...
Nothing lol.
I brought them more out of curiosity than anything. I’m going to give them a go as Iv brought them but if they’re anything like as sensitive on the rod as they are in my hand they will be coming straight off.
When I was looking at some reviews of them some people were saying they were too sensitive and others were saying they were fine. I wonder if it’s luck of the draw what you get and Iv ended up with the sensitive ones lol
Ended up ordering some. Impressions of them without actually using them in a fishing situation are they are extremely bright. Also I’m a bit worried they are too sensitive. Maybe when fishing and cast out with a bit of tension on the line they might be ok but I recon any wind will set them off...
Had a look at a review on YouTube and the guy said in wind they were flashing. I quite like the look of these and like that they lie flat but they look so bright that they’d annoy me. Are they only green and flash red or can you get red ones?
Had a similar problem few years back. Decided to target a deep peg on the middle Severn that no one really fished for a month. First day had a couple but missed a couple of slamming bites that nearly had my rod away. Second day similar but missed more bites. Decided to shorten the hooklink to...
