    RIP River Colne.

Paul, I thought exactly the same myself, but likewise they are seemingly more brazen regarding 'mans' presence, even around dogs!. Waterfowl seem to have perished significantly too, only last season I saw in broad daylight an otter catch and kill an Oystercatcher on the opposite bank...

    Fishing Diaries of Eddie Price.

Excellent condition. Never been read. Selling as I need some new gear for the tench campaign this spring/summer. Limited print of 500, this book is number 374. It is signed by Eddie Price and Martin Mumby. Last few copies on eBay have gone for £246 and £275. Currently there is one...

    Peregrine GTI 10ft stalker rod.

In Excellant condition. Actually comes with two tops, one is slightly smaller by 6" as it was broken by a rather large carp!. This top was restored and repaired by Peregrine themselves. I also had another top section made up by Peregrine to make the rod back up to its original 10ft size. This...

    Cabbages.

Cheers for the replies. Out of curiosity what are the make up of cabbages like on mainlines and hook lengths. I use fairly heavy gear and I'm hoping that they will slice through them. Cheers. Steve.

    Cabbages.

Cabbages what they like to fish amongst?. Being a Notherner one has been spreading his wings and travelling to new venues. Hence one is full of cabbages, dotted with occasional gravel. Cheers. Steve.

    Carp Stalker Rod?

Don't use a barbel stalking rod! Learnt the hard way again on Tuesday!!! Treated myself to a greys 9ft 2.75 rod other day. Looks fantastic for in close fishing. 6ft Wychwood rod, good too, but downside as it doesn't brake down, transportation is a bit of an issue, especially if you don't want...

    Drennan Power Barbel 2lb x 2

Drennan Power Barbel 12ft 2lb Test Curve x2. I bought these rods about 18month ago for fishing on the Yorkshire Ouse/Trent. They are extremely strong rods and are comfortable 'lobbing' 6oz feeders into very swollen rivers. Why am I selling? Sitting behind two rods is not my prefered...

    River Wear info.

Spending a few weeks up Kepier near to the River Wear at Durham. Had a walk of the river and the local club was 'Durham Rangers Angling Club'. Has any members any info regarding the river round this area, it certainly looks the part. Kind regards Steve.
