I thought exactly the same myself, but likewise they are seemingly more brazen regarding 'mans' presence, even around dogs!.
Waterfowl seem to have perished significantly too, only last season I saw in broad daylight an otter catch and kill an Oystercatcher on the opposite bank...

Cheers for the replies. Out of curiosity what are the make up of cabbages like on mainlines and hook lengths. I use fairly heavy gear and I'm hoping that they will slice through them.

I bought these rods about 18month ago for fishing on the Yorkshire Ouse/Trent. They are extremely strong rods and are comfortable 'lobbing' 6oz feeders into very swollen rivers.
Why am I selling?
Sitting behind two rods is not my prefered...
Spending a few weeks up Kepier near to the River Wear at Durham. Had a walk of the river and the local club was 'Durham Rangers Angling Club'. Has any members any info regarding the river round this area, it certainly looks the part.
