Looks to me like a 'black arrow' but possibly rerung as I think the wippings where a yellow gold colour.
It should have the name and logo just above the handle,if it hasnt it could well be a local rod in a sealy bag as it was not umcommon for local dealers to create thier own rods using blanks...
Go to the local pound shop or gardening center,but one of those little foam pads that you kneel on and place that on the snow/frost then feet on top.

Well, for a sea novice had a reasonable session.
7 Whiting average around the pound and a flattie.Lots of bites all to frozen black lug and a piece of mackerel.Should have gone a hour earlier.
Nothing on pellets,interesting this sea game Ill be back for more.
I must admit I need to learn a bit...
Having a chat in the tackle shop today and a few teeside lads having been having some success on the sea open circuit with a similar Idea.

I am looking to replace a shimano 11ft 3in powerloop feeder rod(I left it behind on the river)
That rod was one of the cheaper shimano rods of about 10 years...
