Korum bolt rig run for me or free running , never understood why you’d use a lead clip, asking for problems if it gets snagged

I have penn slammer liveliner , No backwind on them, love the clutch

I Had some 4500 b and I tapered the spool with tape to get a better line lay

When you say a heavier rod I wouldn’t say a 2lb torrix is a heavy rod , will work on most rivers except when it’s carrying extra water .I have 2 and there superb rods , I’d look at a custom build 2.5 , maybe a Dark carbon M Tunley, believe there great rods

I like to use crushed halibut pellets , I use an old meat grinder , added with hemp juice and hemp , that’s what I use in a feeder , 😃

I had the 10 foot feeder version , quality rods
