My Club stretch has a night fishing ban but their is a nice little pub up the road(walking distance) and good camping facilities. Fish through the day and then all swap stories and share a bit of banter in the evening.
sounds interesting. It would be good to meet a few new people and gain a few tips from some of the more seasoned Barbel anglers. I bailiff a stretch of the wye that would quite happily fit a load of us on it and tickets could be aranged for seven quid for the day. Im sure I could get some form...
My season so far has been resonable considering the amount of time spent on the bank. I have had a few highlights in the form of a 12lb 12oz Wye PB and also chub close to the 7lb mark. I have only managed about 147 Barbel this year but like I said I have not had that much time out on the bank...
