I fish the river ribble and by enlarge the banks are mostly pitched not flat for this reason the korum superlite brolley is ideal.

    Trotting rod

Just didn't want to put a reel on it , hook a barbel for it to blow the top section....that would be a very expensive mistake as iv had 1 acolyte tip snap during a normal float fishing session....hence my reservation and curious to find out what other people's recommendations are

We used to park by the water treatment plant in March and the drain is right there.....there is a bridge straight infront of you and down the field to the right is the confluence of the Nene. I used to sit right on the corner of the field and had 1 rod in the 20ft another in the Nene or the...

    Piking on the fens.

Hi Alex A good few yrs ago we used to Zander and pike fish the Fens quite a bit. I found the 20ft around March a good area and also had good success on the 16ft. The old river nene around March was also a favourite.....hope this gives you an area to start looking into.

    Isotopes

Did you remove your top eyes or had them whipped on?
  18. Lee Backshall

    Isotopes

It looks like tip ring removal....although my mate suggested whipping them on in a longer protective tube

    Isotopes

I have my isotopes stood up on my rod tip classic style....if you will. Have seen some that are fixed with shrink tube flat to the blank. I'm after feedback if I should go flat to the blank or not. Cheers Lee
