I do use one.......nothing complicated or expensive, it's an aquarium one off Ebay for a few quid....the temperature probe is on 2ft of thin wire ....I have wrapped a bit of lead on it to make it sink.

I recently heard a chap saying he had caught Barbel on tiger nuts.....that also got me thinking about other carp baits (ie) boilies.......I have used them but always used your classics like red or brown .......has anyone had success on bright yellow or white for instance?

Ah yea always alarmed at night....we used to fish for the massive Tench early morning( they were back then ) the Zeds at night but used to also catch massive eels 4lb + and loads of bream.....used to fish floating bread or casters for insanely big Rudd.....really miss fishing those drains ...
It would ( for us beginners of the pin) be really interesting to see how it's done...pick up all the tips along with the dos and donts. I'd watch for sure
I took a subscription out a few months ago.....and In only my opinion, I think it's great. The films are well made cover lots of different topics....lots of angler interviews. I enjoy it ....some people are anti Martin Bowler and will say different.
