Racking them up Bill, well done. 3rd outing for me today on my own. 3 Tench at 3lb, 4lb12 and 4lb15. Also 3 bream at 6lb3, 6lb 6 and a pb 9lb7. Happy with that.
I like Tench in the spring as I think they're the best bet this time of year. They do fight well too. With the rivers closed. Bream and carp very hit and miss. Tench are the first fish to wake up as it were. Not forgetting Roach of course.
You can now book linear online. Which sounds good. However if like me, you don't know the place. Probably book yourself a crap swim. I am considering booking a day there, as it's fairly local. Leave it till late May though. Hopefully it will have warmed up a bit by then.
Never use hermes. Total shambles. I worked 5 days for them before Christmas. Feel sorry for some of the people who do work there..... On 2nd thoughts, no I don't.

Yes Ed, I had decided to do Clifton Hampden on Wednesday evening. Then I noticed 40mph gusts forecast from 3 till 6pm. It's up a foot in the last 24 hours. More rain tomorrow.
Maybe Friday will be better as the rain and gusts should be gone by 3pm.
I think I'll just keep an eye on it and see...
Ss2600's for most of my river fishing. Tdr 4012 occasionally. Heavier rods cast'izm's and in closed season distance feeder fishing. Occasional float fishing, shimano olivio. Love the QD on the tdr's and cast'izm's.
I also love the handle size on the Ss2600's and cast'izm's. Retrieve the feeder...
