I went to Clifton Hampden today. All swims occupied. As I looked along the six or so swims. There was a bivvy with a TV ariel on top. I had to look twice, I wish I'd taken a photo. Didn't have the heart to tell them The Gunners were on BT 😂. COYG!

Didn't they say Mapledurham? I Iwas fishing a few miles upstream of there today no joy.

Do you fish with "buddy"? To help if needed. Maybe do more mixed fishing. As in venues, not just rivers.

I carry a couple of tins of mackerel or sardines too. Usually end up with tomato sauce down my front. Whenever I fish at Bridgenorth, I'm into Aldi raiding the nearly out of date shelf.

Do any of these recommendations actually keep your feet warm if you're static. No matter what I've tried, always have to go for a walk to warm my feet. Especially toes. Dreading the thought of winter now! Might need something for inside the house this winter. Brrrrrr
