It's far more accurate to fish a mesh bag , clipped on the lead, without your hook bait, . No unopened spoppers on impact!. No opened spoppers half way through reeling in!. Especially if you are fishing less than 40 yards, there a fad , and totally useless.

I would also consider 8000 as there not a lot heavier, and would only be on the rests, probs 98 percent of the time, the other 1 percent casting and messing about. And 1 percent hoping for a bite?

I have both the g 17 /20. And the original spectron M2 , and although the original feels lighter in the hand the g20 feels slightly stronger throughout the action 🧐

If you can find a hardy supero bomb or even the original bomb rod , it's perfect for light work, but will also handle larger fish if required. Quite a remarkable rod really.

There are lots of variants of black one's , and I dare say the No Good Tackle ones are as good as the solar ones for a 5th of the cost 👍

Hi Jim. You can purchase separately new backs with longer ears, though I wouldn't class then as snag ears.

Or you can set them to vibrate only, out it on top of your bucket, and it's enough to wake a ketaminned 🦛
