I have the korum day shelter that can be lowered to fit a bedchair in for an overnighter. Will fit in a rod quiver as well but not the smaller sized ones.
Just got myself a rather nice bargain on a pair of hi-tec venture walking boots. Popped into ranger surplus in surbiton. The ventures normally sell at £120 but managed to get a pair for £70 as the were on an introductory offer :D.
Molesey Rowing club seem to be the worst I have encountered so far. Had serious words with quite a few of them recently and also emailed the club secretary. Considering the Thames around Sunbury etc. is over 100 yards wide I see no reason for them to be 10 foot from the bank.
The rowers on the Thames I find to be a bunch of ignorant and very selfish people. I am going to start firing boilies at them if they continue to row so close to the bank while I am fishing.
Had my Tay muckboots for nearly 2 years now and found no problems with them. Can be a little cold in the winter but an extra pair of socks usually sorts that out.
Had good results using Carp Company Caviar & Cranberry, squid glm & Caviar and also their spicy lobster. Going to have a try with Dynamites Spicy Crab & Garlic soon.
Monster crab was a good bait years ago.
Doh! Loaded one of my 5000 RE's with GR60, was half way through loading one of my 6000 XTEA's and the spool ran out!!
Forgot that I had also loaded it onto a couple of reels i use for the occasional carp trip!
Off to the tackle shop i go! :(
