    Big pellets!

    Had a bag of 21mm high energy marine halibut pellets sat gathering dust in my bait cupboard and thought I'd use them over the next few weeks. They are very oily so I was wondering if anyone had a rough idea at what water temp these pellets become ineffective?

    Because of the amount of problems I have with rowers on the Thames I have been thinking of going down the buzzers/low rod tip carp style approach as well. But I have always liked to see the rod tip bounce away on a take and always thought that letting the rod take the cushion of a Barbel hit...
