Bought mine from a pet shop. The rope from Clas Ohlson, good quality and very reasonable. Put overhand knots in the rope roughly a metre apart to aid grip when it's wet and muddy. One will hold 14st no problem, just don't try and carry too much gear down the bank in one go.
After an early start I was on the Wye and fishing by 7:30am.I was determined to fish a favourite swim but after about 4hrs the biting wind got the better of me, prompting a move.Tried a swim with a degree of shelter, which I'd never fished before, but after donating more than enough end a tackle...
Regarding the facility to set up a direct debit for the license fee, it certainly didn't work out for a pal of mine. Around 6 years ago the direct debit he'd set up paid out around 9 times (God knows how it happened) and cleaned out his current account causing somewhat financial embarrassment...
Over the last few months I've been using "paddle bubble", especially for river Wye readings. It's designed for canoeists but gives fairly regular updates certainly for the areas I'm interested in.Recently for some reason it's started recording multiple results for any given time, but other than...
I think the ability to register a trend is all that's necessary. As long as a rise or fall is detected and aids the decision making, shall I stay or should I go, I think that's good enough.I use a cheap Maplin fish tank model and wrap some solder or a blob of plasticene near the probe to help...

I opted for the 30 inch. Haven't managed to break it yet, and I'm usually unlucky with tackle mishaps. The stitching on the bag gives up the ghost quite quickly, but that's easily sorted. Usually choose to use it when a hikes involved as prefer the Greys rigid spoon when nearer the car.
The last time garlic spam got de-listed was about 5 years ago and the remaining UK stocks were sold through Netto stores, a Sainsburys offshoot company. It might be worth keeping an eye on their weekly deals website over the next month or so to see if it becomes available. Unfortunately my...
According to their website, Sainsburys are also stockists of this product although a bit dearer than Morrisons, if that's of any help to someone in a Morrisons free zone.
Pete.
Another factor regarding the higher choice of breaking strain when electing to use braid is that according to the chart published yearly in the Tackle Box catalogue, the majority of braids seem to break below their stated BS,whereas many brands of mono exceed their stated BS.As an example...
