If you moving about then a brolly is best. I got the fox brolly if I'm staying in one swim but if roaming good water proofs or a light weight brolly is what you after
I used the Daiwa 2600 reel since start of the season and I rate them very highly. I've been giving them a lot of stick on the lower Severn and been first class. Look on the carp pages on face book pages you can sometimes pick them up cheap
Not to pass comment on Facebook pages when the anglers is clearly lying the weight and holding the fish to the camera and not say word when anglers post photo of every fish they caught like 2 lb barbel etc ..
Steve have you look at the fox specialist brolly ? I use mine on the river in these strong winds after my normal brolly got blown inside out . It was first class
Mark I will be asking for a new lone angler landings net pole along with Drennan 36 inch landing net. This is because I left my new lone angler pole along with my new drennan net side of river last week :(
I had the new fox pan net lasted 12 months and it broken. To be honest not a lover of pan nets so I'm a Nody and gone back to triangle and using the new Drennan one do far so good. I still use my fox barbel net Ive had for years
