I still use corn sometimes but not on the hook. I fish big chunks of meat with a tin of corn (taken out the tin ) and spread round done ok taking 3 doubles in a evening of the river Severn
I use my deeper to find features. If I'm fishing a 90 acre water it would take ages to map it out if I didn't have a deeper. It is fantastic finding stuff.
Been using deeper since it came out got mk1 model need to upgrade great bit of kit. Been fantastic for my fishing not cheating it's being one step ahead
Try using smaller chunks of meat when in colder conditions bud big meat is fine when water is 10 oc and above. When below I use much smaller but I over flavour my meat.
Don't pike anglers buy dead roach as bait . Or roach use for zander fishing.. Would you say same if it was eels on the market after all lot less eels then roach . Rather they buy roach then poach them
Both Mike. I use to put in on my camera but my phone Takes good photos so I use that on two bank sticks. Some advice use a long bank stick and point Rhino light down or you get shadows. If we bump into each other I show you bud
