Thanks Nick and Derek. I agree with you both entirely. Not a perfect world, but AT is our best bet in my view.

    rocking and rolling

Nice fishing Graham. The 'Chris Yates' you saw is Matt, nice guy and one of our newer club members. He carries two lovely canes - the other with a Purist on it, so that's OK :)

    Tench 2014 season.

I also caught my first couple of tench this year last Friday, a 6-10 female and a 5-05 male, taken whilst bream fishing a shallow pit, a delightful bonus.

    flyfishing day.

    2013/1014 Season Highlights?

Highlights for me were my first Loddon double and 5+ chub, my first trips to the Wye (thanks SD), my first ever 2lb rudd, new PBs for tench and carp, and lots of great fishing with good friends.

Government gives go ahead for New Cormorant and Goosander Management Plan

Yes, well said Ian. This thread was beginning to read like yet another excuse not to support the AT.

    I agree.

    Barbel off the surface

Can't recall precisely which DVD, but Stuart Morgan and Guy Robb captured images of barbel surface feeding.
