I've tried braid for float fishing and hated it. The main problem being when trying to mend the line the wind takes the braid everywhere.

You're right Richard, rarely see the MkII's not to be confused with the Masterline revamped MkII's later still. Never had my hands on a Normark MkII but had a few previous models.

The newest and more powerful of the Normarks. Very, very nice.

A great day and a great write up. Some of us remember how much you used to put back into fishing, charity events, arranging meetings, junior days, free advice/coaching, chairmanship of angling clubs. Times have changed., but those of us who know, haven't forgotten. 👍
