Worth looking at the 11ft torrid 1.75. Whilst the tc is higher than you want on paper, I thnk it probably fits the bill. Very crisp and slim blank. Andy- Andy Davies

Record Chub?
With respect, I have to take such reports with a pinch of salt... Hope it's geniune all the same! How often are poor photos or discrepancies with weights associated with record proportioned fish? One chap I know has a theory about them always bring 1oz over some figure too. 10.01 seems so...- Andy Davies

Gadgets, gizmo's, rods, reels and odds and ends
I've a little fox thingy. No idea what its called. Has a think and a thin metal bit poking out of a plastic handle. Incredibly useful for tying rigs and poking dried up paste out of my leads from the previous session... I like the pallatrax hooks as per his mis, but they are almost too sharp...- Andy Davies

Been OK for me, not been out as often as in previous years, but managed to sneak out 8 doubles from the B Avon, including 2 double-doubles. Just the one recapture in there. A worrying statistic if in a pessimistic mood (not often!) is the fact that I have only caught 2 single figure fish from...- Andy Davies
