Seems a worrying bit of news .

Well let's hope that if somebody, unfortunately becomes quite ill that they sue the water authority responsible.

Two years a go I spent an awful lot of time fishing a Hants Avon venue that used to hold a good head of barbel but doesn't do the business anymore. I had a solitary barbel of 1lb but in the December I saw a monstrous barbel roll. Focused all of my efforts in that area for the remainder of...

    Big Cat sightings

I'm no expert on the similarities between big cats and domestic cats but domestic cats are natural hunters irrespective of their pampered lives.

Compact camera with flip round screen

Chris if you want a top class digital camera with flip round screen, carry bag, I have a Canon G6 you can have for £80. Below is a pic of a night caught chub (always a difficult fish to photograph in the dark). Can also meet you in Ringwood area.

    Test curve popularity.

Horses for courses. 1.75 is my favourite although I favour a 2lb more and more due to the areas that I fish. I've also just purchased a 2.25 Chimera for the winter floods. If the bank space permits I most enjoy using the 1.75

    Vehicle of choice

I have the Tiguan - love it but the rear space with the back seats down isn't great. Just get the rods etc in diagonally

    Wanted Harrison MUR 12' 2lbtc

I picked up one of these previously on ebay. Brand new, unused for £160. I dont think its a particularly "in demand" rod but I like them. My bid was above £160 but rejected and I won't pay the asking price.

    Wanted Harrison MUR 12' 2lbtc

Thank-you Huanzhou. I did put in a reasonable bid for that rod but it was rejected. I think the asking price is OTT
